Had a bacon cheddar avocado burger, garlic fries, and a coke.
Garlic fries were made with obviously previously frozen fries. They were dressed up nicely with garlic and parsley, but once they were no longer hot, it was painfully obvious they were frozen fries. Basically inedible when not still hot from the kitchen. They become cold, starchy, and tasteless.
The burger was OK, I guess. Obviously not Angus beef. Obviously not Wagyu beef. Probably Australian… not as beefy as Angus and not as refined as Wagyu. The bacon, like all bacon in Japan, sucks (except for yakiniku bacon, which is heavenly). It was an OK burger. Not great, not memorable.
The chef refused to cook the burger medium rare because of safety concerns, which is weird for a country that serves raw beef, raw fish, and raw chicken. But it wasn’t Wagyu, so I guess I understand. Still, it was a very lackluster burger.
