1. This place was on TV so expect a crowd. 2. It serves pork products focusing on Katsu. 3. It allows smoking but who cares when food is off the hook 4. The best Menchi Katsu I have ever had — juicy. The Japanese review did not like the crowd that kept him in line until 1300. I beat the lunch rush by coming at 1120. It was full by the time I left. I ordered the Katsu set with a side of Menchi. Because both were on TV. The Katsu was bigger than my face and super thick and juicy. If you come before 1130 you get a onsen tamago special sometimes, awesome on rice. The Menchi was just a flavor blast unlike most dried out hulks I have tried elsewhere. The tables are small and this is the definition of a back alley basement shop. It delivers on price, size, taste, and flavor!
