Great location, fun place to sit outside and chat or people watch, great place to meet people, nice atmosphere. Downside: VERY expensive (and shitty selection of, as others have noted) beers (even by Tokyo standards)…¥1300+! There are other Brit style pubs nearby (Bass…just down the street) that are as good w better beer choices and HALF the price!!!

Burbank, CA
This is a great bar because of the people it seems to attract. I’ve met and chatted with some very interesting and accomplished western people… many whom live here. No, they don’t have a stellar selection of beers. But they have some nice liquor. You can get buzzed and have a great time and it’s not too crazy. It’s an open air place with lots of good seating. Service is different but very good. I just flew here from LA and ‘stumbled’ on this place. I’m an instant regular. Check it out.

so-​so english style bar in akasaka. i wish to god they had one or 2 craft beer options. sometimes they have a guest tap (punk IPA or the like) kind of pricey at 1400 yen per 16oz pint. but great football screens. loads of gaijin expats. and some outdoor seating which is nice.
