I would not believe a quality art gallery would exist in a mall. But i guess in Tokyo almost anything could exist in one. Caught some 17th and 18th century ceramic arts here with some focus on the Edo era works. A super slick and dimly lit museum, where artifacts are displayed in pristine and spartan glass cases. Minimalist but totally stylish at the same time. I thought at first the space was a bit small at first but for 1300 yen wasnt that big a deal. Then we realized there’s a whole other floor below! And a ton more artifacts to boot. Now that is a good deal!

The Suntory Museum of Art was really cool. I went to see KAZARI: The Impulse to Decorate Japan and I thoroughly enjoyed it. All the pieces on display were a little different from what I usually see in Japanese art museums. It had an interesting spin on everything with the theme of decoration. The adult price was 1300 yen and the student price was 1000 yen.
