Great Italian style restaurant in the heart of Roppongi. A lot of folks stop here after work for drinks but also has the ambiance for a nice couples dinner. Great view overlooking the city to include Tokyo tower. Offers an almost paint by numbers style of eating as they bring many different types of food you order in quantities just enough to for you to enjoy and be ready to move onto the next food. Good beer and wine selection for many different palates. Attentive service and great selections at a price that will not break the bank either!

Rigoletto is my favorite hamburger place in Tokyo as of February 2012. Well, they also serve many other western kinds of dishes, but my focus has been their hamburgers since I went there for the first time. The patty meat is very tasty and juicy and yet is not too meaty. It goes well with the tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. You can add many different toppings as you like(my personal preference is to add mushrooms). You get a good portion of hamburger with a lot of fries on the side. If you are on a diet or not so into fries, then tell them you’d like a salad instead. They’ll make the switch for you. If you stop by at night, they have a nice, cozily crowded standing bar for you. You can just pop up for a beer or two and leave. I do that very often. A tall glass of beer(extra cold Heineken) costs 900JPY and that’s what I usually get and watch other people enjoying their lives. You could even try to generate a conversation with whoever’s standing beside you if you will. The atmosphere is slightly night-club-like but is fancy enough to take your business partners with you to. If it’s your first visit to Tokyo and you have difficulty adapting to Japanese food, just come to Rigoletto and enjoy their western style dishes at reasonable prices. You’ll come to know that Tokyo does have decent options to help you out.

Seems that someone got the message and told the staff to welcome the local foreigners again. Thank you!

In reading up on the Tokyo Hamburger Grand Prix held by the restaurants if Roppongi Hills I noticed this place was last year’s winner so thought I’d give them a try during the 2015 event. Ordered the holiday lunch special with the contest nominated Rigoletto Burger. Restaurant itself is focused around a main bar at one end and an open concept kitchen at the other. Lighting is dim, like many New York establishments with a similar vibe. I sat at the bar. Starter course of the set was a cup of consommé soup. Ubiquitous in Japan, this one had a strong poultry broth and was not too salty. Honestly, it was a good regulator of the body temperature on such a hot summer day. Second course was a potato salad with tomato paste next to an egg, lettuce greens and ham cutlet appetizer. Potatoes were average. Ham cutlet and egg went quite well with the mayonnaise and greens. I ordered the crab salad. It was light and refreshing with a simple mix of crab, onion and salad greens with a very light dressing. Burger was fantastic. Maybe the meat was a bit over seasoned but it did nonetheless come together quite well. Good flavors, good meat temperature and a nice bite with the cheese. And somebody here knows I like shoestring fries. Definitely a sandwich I’d order again. Dessert was a cherry sorbet with mint leaves. Very refreshing after the burger. Definitely sweet. Nice touch were the free refills on the included drink.

Tapas were unique, delicious and very reasonably priced. Pizza was delicious but I recommend the 10″ if you are sharing. Seating was fast and service was efficient. Only drawback was no matter where you sit the cigarette smoke is thick. Will probably comeback.

Its so unfortunate for me to write this review as Rigoletto has been my to-go bar for years but as the amazing staff has slowly quit the new bartenders are simply thieves. if you seem the slightly tipsy they will not return your change and simply pocket it as tips… It seems like the staff simply doesn’t care for regulars and have no regrets to steal. NEVER give the staff more than the drink is worth… totally 1 Star at best and for sure a F-.

Delicious hamburgers! And so many varieties! The double burger is a great deal! Enough meat and cheese to fill you up for the rest of the day!!! It can get very crowded and noisy, especially on Fri and Sat night. To the point where you cannot here what other people at your table are saying The bar section is nice also but it can get very hot!!! The wait staff at the bar wear spaghetti strap tank tops but you can see that they are dripping with sweat and their clothes are sopping wet. I hope they don’t drip their sweat in the drinks. You can skip the bar and just get food too! There is a private room with karaōke but I have never seen anybody in there.

サラダを食べるつもりでしたが誘惑に負けて、うっかりハンバーグを食べてしまいました。(と言うの意味は: now I have to go to the gym, but I might fall asleep instead). The Rigoletto Burger is quite the irresistible result when the other choice is pizza or pasta. 六本木ヒルズ 5階のリゴレットのランチタイムメニューは超 リミテッドだよね。ほとんどピーザ、パスタ、ハンバーグと言うの感じで、you can’t expect someone to order the healthy option at a restaurant. Still, the burger was great. The bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese option provides the most juice for the Yen. フレンチ*フライはちょっと良くないけど、この店で。細い固くすぎるものだが、ketchupも全然足りないですよ。 強いポイントは: 風景 :) 悪いポイントは: ketchup 足りない :(

Great burgers, fair prices and a killer view of tokyo if you’re lucky enough to sit by the window. It’s in Roppongi hills so it usually is a bit crowded. They have a good brunch too on weekends.

The venue is located on the 5th floor of Roppongi Hills, and the gigantic 5,500 plus square foot restaurant is great all day or night and stays open until 5am. The 50 foot-long standing bar counter in a separate area is perfect for a predinner drink. Glass of wine from 420 Yen(Approx. $ 4.20USD), beer and cocktail from 500 Yen(Approx. $ 5USD). Not that pricey contrary to its«shi-shi» appearance. You can buy a glass of beer from 500 yen. Whatabahgain. They serve in tapas form, so might as well, come with a party of 4+ to get most out of this place. My favorites are spicy herb fries, quattro formaggio. I never knew that some pizza can go excellent with pouring honey on it. I actually enjoy here people watching more than food. Roppongi aka«Douchebag Central» as I refer to, this place is another classic example. All the expats from foreign financial companies descend down here and desperate Japanese women who are hoping to find possible husband ascend up here after the clock hits 5pm. Then all the cringey shit show happens. Ain’t expensive, ain’t too cluttered, give this place a go. You’ll probably enjoy it.

Rigoletto is located on the 5th floor of the Roppongi Hills Building. I was eating only Japanese food for about a month while I was in Japan, and just when I started craving American food, my dad took me to Rigoletto so we can have some burgers! I got the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was delicious! I regret not going there at night because at night they have foie gras burger! If I ever get to go back, I want to try their foie gras burger since I could hardly get some living in LA! Oh. If you sit by the window, you can have a nice view of the Tokyo Tower!
