I love french fries. Pommeke has good fries and I love the story, but I don’t really feel a reason to return. For the price, it just didn’t feel like enough, even though they were pretty good. I feel like I can get good fries at a lot of places, for cheaper and somewhere I can order a whole meal. But I think the thing that threw me off the most was how intimate the shop was. It really is tiny. I didn’t feel like there was any privacy and that people were instantly waiting for my order, the second I walked in the door. Probably because the cash register is just one step from the door. It works to have food that’s fast and a small shop I guess, but it really wasn’t what I was expecting. Not the shops fault, and I hope it works out, but three stars is described as «A-OK» and that’s exactly how I feel.
