Intimate and personable. Good number of grilled seafood items, a lot of which were already sold out by the time we were seated in the early evening. Daily fish specials on display platter for grilling and/or sashimi. Also seems to have a no-smoking policy which surprised us, given the classic izakaya setup. BTW the menu isn’t blessed with a whole lot of photos and there isn’t any English in the restaurant so be warned. We ordered whatever we could read and communicated with everyone else as best we could, YMMV. All staff there was friendly and helpful, in any case.
