Came here to try Japanese oysters, and they’re actually pretty different from the ones we get in the states! The oysters are grown on an island on a rope(which was super weird to me), and they also have various kinds that you can pick and choose from. Since I don’t know Japanese, my friend just ordered a variety for us to try. We got an oyster appetizer(complimentary) to start, and the oysters came out right after. Everything was extremely fresh, and Jackpot offers a huge variety of sauces to pair with the oysters! They even had a whiskey one which I thought was super interesting. They’re drier than American oysters(not that much juice) but quality was great. It was interesting to me how different they taste– now I want to try oysters from every country I visit!
