Great location if flying into Haneda Airport. Just take the Monorail to Hamamatsu-cho station and walk 5 – 10 mins. If you get a Bay View room, it is well worth it for the view of Tokyo Bay. If you don’t speak Japanese, the restaurant selection in the area is scarce but there is an Irish Pub close to Hamamatsu-cho station.

OK place. Do not expect any upper society, category 9 level service here, as this hotel is a category 6(surprisingly, it looked really nice but a little too Western with the décor). The staff attendants were really accommodating and polite. Some of the staff”s English did need a bit of work though, as evidenced by a English couple having a bit of a communication problem with their bellman. This hotel was the first I saw in Tokyo where I saw one of the greeters was Caucasian. That was just an interesting tidbit I noticed. I found the room was basic and standard despite being«upgraded» to an Executive on a private floor. It was a little dated and not quite as spacious as I thought. Nothing really out of the ordinary, though I found the PJ’s and cheap slippers interesting. I did like the riverside view though. I cannot comment on the lounge, gym, or restaurants in the hotel as I was mainly out and about. I was told the buffet can be pretty pricey for not offering much. The hotel’s location was pretty ideal being in Takeshiba pier and conveniently nearby 2 Family Mart’s, a mom-and-pop convenience store, a soba restaurant, and a café. Another great thing is the closeness to Takeshiba Station(if you want to go to Odaiba) and a short 7 minute walk to Hamamatsucho Station. It is also a short distance to Tokyo Tower if you want to stop by. Taxis wait in abundance outside the hotel. My only gripe was after check-out when the bellman took too long to bring down the luggage. I could have done that in 5 minutes instead of 30: P Tips: There is a garden nearby to visit called Kyu Shiba Rikyu if you want some relaxation. And apparently, there was a Pokemon Centre nearby but it is now permanently closed. If you go outside and around the corner, you could get a good view of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. In the nearby Takeshiba Terminal building, they have restaurants that have good view of the bay and a convenient Family Mart located within. There’s a little wide open lobby with vending machines and instant coffee if you prefer that over the hotel too.

I have a great impression of Intercontinental hotels because of the Mark Hopkins in SF. This is a great hotel to stay at in Tokyo. We were upgraded to an Executive floor. You have to swipe your card in the elevator to unlock entry. Our room had a view of the Tokyo Tower and the river. The staff are professional and helpful. We booked a tour to Mt. Fuji through the hotel. They offer meals. Our use of internet in the room was free. Top of the line hotel.

this is a really nice place to stay in Tokyo. i must confess i am an Ambassador member so alot of my experience was in the lounge where you get free drinks for most of the day as well as free snakes and breakfast. this made it more than worth it and the people were very friendly. they have some good restaurant options as well as a small spa. i was not able to get access for the gym, but i know that they have one. they have bus service to the closest JR subway station. i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. i will for sure stay here again.

The Hotel IC Tokyo Bay was an outstanding experience for us. We stayed at the Club Level and were treated like royalty. The concierge Suzuki-san was extremely accommodating and provided outstanding tips on day trips from Tokyo. The hotel provides a complementary shuttle bus to the train station a couple of times an hour, we had a beautiful view of Tokyo Bay from our room, the food was outstanding, and we considered the rate reasonable. We got a lot of bang for our Yen!
