A nice little Italian place around Tokyo Midtown and the National museum. It’s speciality is pasta and they have over 10 different kinds! I came here for lunch where you get a drink, soup and all you can eat bread. And it’s nice bread, not the airy, bland bread you usually get in Japan. The price depends on which pasta you choose. I chose the sea urchin and fish roe pasta which was ¥1.600. Not the cheapest lunch but it was delicious and considering the portion size it was reasonably priced. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. If you like the tastes of the sea my choice is definitely for you. They of course had different varieties too, as well as a half pasta half salad option with various dishes. Definitely recommend you to stop by if you love pasta! Enjoy!

We attempted to come here last night, they list it to close at 11pm but we arrived too late at 10:40pm assuming last order is 10:30pm. Bummer. Food: 2 – 2.5 After much anticipation, we came here again hoping for some really really great pasta. Perhaps our expectations of Japanese making pastas were too high from our prior experience of Japanese’s twist on pasta.(Usagi from US — and that’s just a small restaurant around the sf Bay Area, but we’ve also had many other great experiences of Japanese Pasta elsewhere) We came here for lunch and there were a lot of people waiting. There’s a lunch counter where you have a choice of 1 drink(juices and coffee or tea) and then 2 pancakes, 1 soup and bread. My impression of the pancakes were just average, bread was super dry and soup was very salty and not impressed. But then again, it is free so low expectation there. As for entrée, we ordered: –bolognese /pesto lunch combo: The pesto was on the saltier side with cubes of mozzarella tossed in. The bolognese was the better half, but nothing worth returning for. –carbonara: we finished this dish, not because it was so delicious, but because it was decent and we were hungry For a place that specializes in home made pasta, we were surprised how over cooked and gummy it was served. Service: 2 The servers weren’t attentive, I had to get back up to flag someone down to take an order. Perhaps it’s like that for lunch time and they have that serve yourself mentality. This isn’t typical for Japanese service, it’s usually top notch. Overall I didn’t really care for this place even though it seems like a very popular lunch spot.
