Out of the three types of cafes in Japan 1. the sit and study coffee«hippy hangout style café». 2. The«diner-esque style café» which is just a diner with café written at the top. Or 3. The trendy upscale«restaurant style café» which are great to meet with friends and chat, do meetings but aren’t going to feel comfortable studying. Bills is a number 3. Restaurant style café. You go in and feel like you need to dress up a little before entering and unfortunately I didn’t have my ironically hipster outfit on that day so I could really enjoy it as much. But I think if I’m going on a date with a cute Japanese girl that is blind enough to think I’m good looking :-D then this is a good choice. So dress up and shave a little bit, get a few friends and go on over. Downside is no wifi in the trend of many Japanese cafes. I ordered one of the cakes on the menu for around 500. It’s the only inexpensive thing as everything ranges around 1200 and up so make sure not to forget your wallet either :-D the waiters and waitresses are really friendly(servers for all you politically correct waiters and waitresses out there that think this is somehow an upgrade better than garbage man to sanitation worker(~_~;) now THATS a real title upgrade. But server? It makes it sound like you got farm help or something on the cotton field… Sorry tangent… Although barista is a cool sounding upgrade over coffee guy. Anyway Bills is a nice place. Recommend it only on date night when you’re bringing a super hottie to see robots in Odaiba and got money to spend. For an wide open airy trendy fashionable café, it’s a good spot to hang.

Who doesn’t want to eat breakfast foods all day? Well this place does a proper western style(Aussie) breakfast which you can order any time of the day. They have a variety of other breakfast foods as well as various other main dishes like salads, seafood and meat dishes. We had the Aussie breakfast, Wagyu burger and the Beef shin mole. And for desert we had the honeycomb butter and banana pancakes. The food was delicious and it kept us wanting more. I was quite impressed with the breakfast. The portion was reasonable and it was super yum. The other dishes were really nice too but smaller in portion and cost more. The pancakes were sooooooooo good. They some how make them creamy and the combination of honeycomb butter, banana and to top it off maple syrup is irresistible. I couldn’t stop drooling! All in all the food was great, but it was all a bit pricey. Still totally worth it if you want proper eggs and bacon! Highly recommended if in the Odaiba area! Enjoy!

I’ve been wanting to try Bill’s for awhile, but the one I live near, the one in Harajuku, always has such a huge line. Today I happened to be going to Odaiba, so we tried the one in Decks Odaiba. Luckily, there was no line at all! I don’t know if it was because we went on a Monday though. The inside was much more spacious than I was expecting. I was thinking the tables would be smashed together, but it wasn’t the case at all. I had heard good things about the ricotta pancakes, so I got them. They said they would take 20 minutes to come out, and I was starving, so I got a rhubarb crumble muffin to start, which was absolutely delicious. A little much though, at 400 yen. My BF got the fresh Aussie breakfast, which he was a little disappointed with. It came with poached eggs, spinach, colliader, tomatoes, and avocado. He liked it, but he said it was something he could make it at home, and he was still hungry. But, my pancakes really lived up to their reputation! The pancakes were so fluffy, and the ricotta cheese oozed out as I stuck my fork in it. I think the BF was a little jealous. All in all, I recommend this place, so long as there isn’t a line.

this place is solid. menu has a number of unique dishes made with quality ingredients that are for the most part healthy. and then there’s the ricotta cheese pancakes that everybody talks about — they are as good as everyone says, probably the best i’ve had. comfy and spacious vibe which is pretty rare for tokyo, and fine for kids too.

I first ate at this Bills a few years ago, before all the hype surrounding their Harajuku store. Even then, late in the afternoon on the weekend, they were crowded. Luckily, nothing like the wait for the Harajuku store! I hear that line can take an hour or two sometimes. I love the look of the restaurant. The look is distinctly beach-y and the white wood and furniture add to that vibe. The day I went there the weather was nice enough that we were able to enjoy the meal outside on the deck and look at the Odaiba«view». For Tokyo, it’s a nice waterfront restaurant. Bills is famous for their rich ricotta pancakes. I recommend that if you really want to try this bite of fluffy carb heaven then you should try this location instead of waiting for a spot in Harajuku. By the time you come out to Odaiba, it’ll basically be the same wait time — plus, this way you can enjoy the seaside view.
