Located in the shopping street of Gakugei Daigaku station, Thai restaurant is small but noticeably tucked in. Not that I’ve ever been to Thailand, this set up reminds me of quintessential Thai street vendor. Lunch menu is quite simple. It’s broken down to 2 kinds — rice based and noodle based dishes. And each has roughly 4 dishes. Most of them are roughly 800 yen. I ordered tom yum soup ramen. You can get to choose either rice noodle or ramen noodle. I chose ramen noodle. Also I ordered mini fried rice just in case ramen wouldn’t be enough. Sourness was just right as I’ve encountered overwhelming sour tom yum soup. This one was just right. Although ramen noodle was averagely good, this definitely belonged to tasty ones I’ve had. If you are in this area and want to stay relatively frugal, give this place a go.
