When you think of Jiyuugaoka, the first thing that comes to most people’s minds is sugary, blissful dessert shops. While there are a TON of sweets parlors and cafes around here, this particular place is near and dear to my heart, since my host mother took me here right before I left Japan. Now that I’m back, I have gave them my business several times already. They have really great quality cakes, cookies, macarons, and other various sweets that have consistently blown me away with their quality. What’s more is, when you purchase something, they will gift wrap it for you very nicely, and include a very nice bag with it to boot. There’s also a seating area in the back where you can leisurely have your cake and eat it too while listening to classical music. Life don’t get much better than that, I tell you boy.
