We stopped here when we were on the way to the bookshop right in front of Matterhorn(also a great place). The desserts here are beautiful. We got two slices of baumkuchen for 300¥ which has a life of its own in Japan. We sat right in the cute restaurant and ate it. The ambience was perfect because of the design and the cake was delicious. It tasted like mix of sponge/rum/yellow cake with the perfect amount of moistness

If you’re looking for a traditional Japanese ‘Cake Shop’ this is one of the places to go. I bought cakes(slices) from here about 2 times and all of the slices were delish– typical Japanese European Style flavor. I’ve been told by several that its a «famous» cake shop, but for being famous the there is still a «local feel’ to it, the prices are average and the staff still friendly. A good selection of traditional/common cake variaeties you’d find in Japan. Whenever I walked past the store there was always a small line of customers. There is also a little eat-in area in the store. :)
