Easily the greatest club in all of Japan. That is all you need to know. Go here. For more detail: see below. But I’m just going to talk about how great it is. Ageha is the largest club in all of Tokyo. It is not conveniently located, but they do run shuttles to and from Shibuya apparently. We took the subway, and knew it was going to be a good night when the line at Family Mart to buy Strong Zeros was out the door. The cover is a little bit higher than the other clubs, but 3,000 yen isn’t bad when you consider that you’re getting 4 dance floors, several bars, and like 20 DJs over the course of the night. Plus, drinks were pretty reasonable. My favorite thing about this club: designated outside smoking area. The next morning when I was wandering(stumbling) about the Tsukiji fish market(a couple subway stops away), I didn’t smell like cigarettes. That makes all the difference in the world. They actually don’t allow any drinks, food, or cigarettes on the main dance floor, which keeps it nice and clean. It was also nice that it was just so massive, there were plenty of places to sit down and take a breather, without being stuck in a smoky corner. Weirdest thing: Because one of the dance floors, bars, smoking area, and pool was outdoor, you could see the sunrise over the water. That was kind of cool. But also strange when you’re trying to dance.

Chaos! All of my friends who have been there love this club a lot. Tons of various people, different kinds of music, … One of the harder parts is how to get there and come back from down town Tokyo. If you want an extravaganza, you should go there;) Price: Average. Up to how much you wanna drink: Q Atmosphere: Chaos! Fun spot with fun mates;)

What a cool club! Actually most of the music clubs in Tokyo downtown can get easily too small, too crowded, too loud and especially too filthy. Ageha is different. Ageha is bigger Ageha is much better, it’s huge! Ok it’s a bit outside located in the middle of the Bay Area, but actually quite easy accessible. Either via Subway, Shuttle Bus or Taxi. You can even walk to Tsukiji e.g. for a nice & clean Sushi breakfast — after a long night with a couple of drinks of course… Seriously, when all dance floors are open it’s really nice to be there. On at least one floor you will find some good music. When it’s good weather you can even party outside and for a quick bite in between there are usually some food trucks available. I guess there are just a few places where so many different tastes can be accomodated.

It’s a very large club. Out of all the clubs I visited in Japan, this one felt similar to a mega clubbing experience you’d find in the states, with the exception that Ageha staff service is better organized. I went on a slower night, so they only had local talent playing. But from what my friends say, and from the poster boards everywhere, they do bring in a ridiculous amount of top talent. I think this is one of those clubs that experience is dictated on who is performing that night. But if you don’t care, and just want to get out, have a drink and dance, this could be what you’re looking for. The décor wasn’t bad, but nothing special either. Large main dance floor, a deck outside with a swimming pool, and another smaller building with a another dance floor. There is also seating next to the shoreline that was fenced off. Located in the back is a convenient little food park, which more clubs should incorporate! Accessing the club wasn’t difficult, as we used their shuttle bus from Shibuya.

Went here with my friends on my first night in tokyo for Nervo. The clubs location is in koto so it is kinda a ways away from everything but still easily accessible through the subway if u dont mind walking 5 – 10 min. they also offer a shuttle service from roppongi if im correct we decided on bottle service upon reaching the club. VIP area is very nice with a great view of the main stage and easy access to the rest of the club. however did not feature a VIP bathroom to my knowledge. security for the VIP are was very good at keeping random people out. Bottles at ageha are roughly the same price as they are anyplace in tokyo around ¥20,000 or so for a bottle of goose. the biggest downside of the VIPIMO is that everyone in the club can see you since ur next to the stage so if you start puking everyone will see. the main dance floor int he club is massive and can easily accommodate the crowds for the biggest DJs. the other parts of the club are nice but less crowed such as the other 2 dj rooms which i think play pop and hip hop one of which you had to walk outside to access. the club also features an outdoor poor which is crazy with a dj setup out there too. also outside they had a little food truck area. i woudl highly recommend Ageha especially if a big name DJ is playing. definitely the biggest club ive been to and probably the best in tokyo

Ageha is a bit far from the city city center but certainly accessible by train or their shuttle bus in Shibuya. Then it’s a quick 5 minute walk from the train station and you can’t miss the blasting music. I went when Paul Van Dyk and Astrix were playing there and the place didn’t get busy until 1am and I had gotten there around 12:30am. There are 300yen lockers right when you go into the club to put your bag or anything you don’t want to carry or can carry in like food, drinks, camera. The main floor was amazing, lots of space, disco balls and one huge one hanging from the ceiling, while the DJ is on his platform in the front. The lights and mist were awesome effects, though it got pretty hot after awhile with so many people. The different areas of the club gave a place to breath from the main room and also had drink and food sales in between. The prices are decent at 700yen for a mixed drink and the amount of liquor in the mixed drinks is ample. The pool on the third floor was tiny and not as cool as I though it would be. That night there was free body paint and the two painters did an amazing job! I got a parrot and flowers. They have security at all the different room to make sure party goers weren’t smoking or brining drinks into no smoke or no drink zones(helps prevent unnecessary spillage onto other personnel and keeps the club clean/safe). There are seats and tables littered throughout the establishment but difficult to obtain once the party starts so don’t bank on sitting at all. The bathroom lines are pretty tame though also a wait. I haven’t been to too many other clubs around Tokyo, but Ageha gets many big name artists, and I have seen Porter Robinson and m-flo here. The club is huge — can probably hold about 5,000 people, and there are multiple stages too, including one in a tent and one outdoors by a pool. It is a good idea to get tickets ahead of time, often sold at convenient stores. Had a really good time both events I went too! However, Ageha is also very far from the main city center. To get there, one can catch a free shuttle bus from Shibuya. This means on the way back though, one would have to stay out all night until first trains, or leave pretty early to avoid exorbitant taxi fees. An alternative that I have exercised both times I have been here is to go to Oedo Onsen Monogatari also in Koto-ku, about 15 mins away by taxi, and stay the night at the onsen theme park. Best.idea.ever.

It’s a very big dance club located in Shinkiba. Actually, I’ve never danced there, but I’ve been there to see my favorite rock band. Yes, it’s a dance club, but it is also used as a hall. It’s called ageHa when talking about the dance club and Studio Coast when a band is playing there even though it’s the same building. There’s not much to do or see around the area but such nice inside.
