With the streets packed due to the annual Kobe Luminarie(light festival) I was expecting Robinson to be full however it was surpassingly empty with only a handful of staff working. This made for a pleasant evening with my wife. The décor is modern and chic with the standard christmas carols playing in the background(as is the case with most restaurants this time of year). The waitresses were not over friendly but not rude either. Meals were served in a timely manner. One interesting point, they waited until we finished our wine to clear the main plates and bring us the dessert and coffee. From only ¥1800 for a basic pasta or risotto dinner course(incl. bread, salad, dessert & coffee/tea) and a glass of wine for ¥500 prices are very reasonable for this part of town. The dishes are nothing to rave about but tasty enough, simple and elegantly prepared. This was the 3rd or 4th time I’ve been here and each time I’ve had a similar experience.
