All I can say is that in all of my life at eating at all the best Restaurants all over the world, I have never eaten at a Michelin Star Rated Restaurant ever, and after my dining experience here at La Maison de Graciani in Kobe Japan, the bar has been set to another level for my palate because the flavors and textures of the food here were beyond orgasmic. Located in the Kobe area of Japan, this restaurant is located in a beautiful old style home or the type you would see in the hills of San Francisco. The interior is really like being in someone’s home giving it that cozy feel. They have a stellar wine selection with some really nice wine selections and the menu is price fixe style with different price options. We were seated in a private room which was perfect for the five of us. The ambience is simply amazing and everything about this place just makes you feel like your in Heaven. We did the 6500 yen course which was an amazing array of dishes that were simply remarkable. Our Amusebouche had three items that tickled the palate and kept me yearning for more Our first course was a Pork and Foie Gras Terrine which was simply put, amazing in each and every way The bread here at any French Restaurant is too die for and I couldn’t get enough of the bread that they were passing around our table Second course was a Warm Chestnut Soup with Black Truffles and Pancetta. This soup was elegant in texture and the aroma of truffles just captivates you We had some type of Palate Cleanser before our main courses and it was incredible Third course was Pan Roasted Kinmedai or Golden Eye Snapper with a Beet Sauce and Broccoli Mousseline. The Kinmedai was so moist and flakey and it was simply orgasmic with each and every bite I also had our server and sommelier pair each course with some wine and he was spot on with his selections. He definitely knows his craft Fourth course was the Showstopper Wagyu Beef with Red Wine Demi Glacé that just blew me right out of Kobe and into another food demention. This Beef could be pierced with a fork and the Beef just was so soft and oh my god oh so delicious. Why does Japanese Beef always taste so damn good. This dish was the highlight of our meal Dessert was a Mont Blanc or Chestnut Dessert with Sorbet and it was a fitting end to a spectacular lunch here at La Maison de Graciani It was also a nice touch for the Executive Chef and Assistant to visit our table and ask us how our meal was. We all just applauded and told him what a remarkable meal we have just had. He was even kind enough to take pictures with us. In ending, all I can say is that this was mind boggling dining experience for me and this had to be one of the best dining experiences I ever had in my whole time of eating at some great restaurants. I’m still in a foodie trance after eating here at La Maison de Graciani in Kobe Japan Mahalo Chef and staff for a meal of a lifetime
