Whenever I go to see the art exhibition in Hyogo Prefectural Museum, I drop in this Ash de Café, because there are few café around the museum. First, I have lunch in the vicinity of Iwaya station, next, visit the museum, and last, have a sweet and drink. This café prepares light meals, sweets, and drinks. The menus of light meals are limited such as Hayashi rice, curry rice, noodle rice, taco filling and rice, toasts or sandwiches. I’m not good at spicy foods, so I ordered Hayashi rice, and my husband noodle rice. As for Hayashi rice it is almost same as the one I cook at home. Homey taste. Noodle rice is rare. It is a mixture of Yakisoba and Chinese fried rice, which tasted good. I had lunch here only once. Then I didn’t have enough time, so I had only lunch here. As for desserts, there is not so wide selection and additionally each piece is small. So choosing the assortment is recommended. The assortment and drink costs 750 yen or so, reasonable! The assortment consists of three or so kinds of tiny cakes, and each one is bite-size piece. An advantage point is that if you show the ticket of Hyogo Prefectural Museum, eating and drinking costs are discounted by 10%. A point to be improved is that smoking is allowed. I would like to ask the café for no-smoking. Twenty seats or so. There are few walls, which has an open-air like atmosphere. Easy to enter the café without putting on airs.
