Japanese grocery which sells fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, imported items, etc. at relatively cheap prices. It seems like this is where a lot of local restaurants get stuff and it’s open 24⁄7. Staff were friendly and helpful but had limited English skills.

For the longest time, walking through the city, I didnt see a grocery store. Until my last day we stumbled upon Hanamasa. All sorts of home goods for the home cook. Produce, packaged goods, seafood, frozen items, and what not upstairs. Friends were looking to bring back a bunch of Japanese sweets. However the real treasure is downstairs. The butcher shop. All that wagyu goodness. Sausages, chops of all sorts. Even a giant wagyu brisket. If only I had a kitchen in my hotel room. Im guessing the TSA folks would have a field day if I had a wagyu brisket in the carry on.
