Lawson, Inc.(株式会社ローソン) is a convenience store franchise chain in Japan. Believe it or not this store originated in Cuyahoga Falls, near Cleveland and Akron, but today exists as a Japanese company and is the second largest convenience store chain in the country behind 7-Eleven. It’s a little different than what one would expect from a typical convenient store stateside fortunately the customer service is exceptional the staff is friendly and engaging, it hardly felt like any convenient store in the area I live which I find to be creepy after midnight but this place gave me none of those vibes even though I was thousands of miles from home in a land where I have trouble communicating, actual I found it easier to communicate with the Japanese staff here than those that own the majority of the convenient store just down the street from my home imagine that…

I love Lawson! This location was close to the hotel I was staying at. Basically, it’s a Japanese 7 – 11 but 10 times cleaner and better… and without creepy people. You can get fresh sushi, rice balls, snacks, green tea anything, Studio Ghibli Museum tickets, toiletries, etc. anytime. Their stuff aren’t expensive. I like getting snacks and bottled teas here. I also got some green tea Kit Kats and dark chocolate Kit Kats.

This location is tad bigger and less crowded than Lawson on Showa Dori street. Store has usual steppes of pre made food collection, snack, booze, magazine, and pharmacy items. Gals working here are nice and fast.
