This was the most amazing dinner for my whole week in Tokyo. We had a private room on the second floor which was great for our small group of six. It is modern sushi with very basic sushi and an occasional surprise. The bonita sashimi was out of this world. It almost looks maguro, but the taste was a world away. The food was excellent, but the selection of six carafes of Daiginjo was out of this world. It started with an amazing sparkling one. Then a couple refined dry ones which tasted very differently but I lack the vocabulary to really describe the difference. The next two were increasingly flowery before we returned to super clean dry one. Heaven on a corporate expense account … pictures are following.
