In defense of this place, I’m sure they’re operating under heavy overhead costs due to the location on such a busy street, but ultimately I didn’t feel that our meal was a good value, even by Tokyo price standards. All together we ordered one Buttered Chicken, ~¥1,400(rice not included but was an additional ¥400), vegetable pakoras ¥850, and a small cup of chai masala ¥400 + 8% tax. The food was decent, the Buttered Chicken was well seasoned and the sauce was nice and spicy. We ate everything but were still hungry since the portions were sadly disproportionate to the cost. I more or less might have expected this from an international restaurant in Tokyo, but what I did not expect was the COCKROACH who scurried on to my plate to scavenge the vestiges of my rice. Noticing the terror on my face, the owner(?) came over to unapologetically relieve us of our little guest, and that was that. Had I not been in such shock, I would have asked for at least a discount if not a full refund for the meager dinner, but I just wanted to get out as fast as possible. Most places in the US would comp your whole meal for an incident like that, but they didn’t even bat an eye which is a little concerning to me. While otherwise the service was attentive and the food decent, I wouldn’t recommend the place based on the dinner prices(lunch might be a better value). The chicken was good, but the roach was more than I’d bargained for.

Recommend for anyone in Ginza looking for Indian cuisine. Owner is from Mumbai — if anyone is curious about origins of cuisine though, his menu is not only Maharastrian. He has prawn vindaloo and mutton for those who don’t want pure veg. He made me chapatis which weren’t on the menu which was really nice and delicious. The salty lassi took me right back to India. While I normally eat like a local — this was a fun and worthwhile break from the delicious Japanese cuisine in Ginza.

Authentic Indian food, heart of Tokyo. Nice hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Been there few times, made a request for aloo poori, which was very good. If you have any out of the menu request, they would possibly make it for you. Highly recommended Indian restaurant in Tokyo. Ram.

Went at Annam & simply 「Annam Dinner Set」. And Corona, BEER. Had a Salad, Papad and chicken-Tikka, chicken-Curry & Naan. The owner and the staff is warm and attentive. Really recommend to get there as having a casual dinning bar!

The bread — butter nan and garlic nan are both amazing. The Prawns Vindaloo had a nice bite and the sauce was very flavorful. Chicken Korma was sweet and creamy. Not much distinctive flavor but good for those preferring a mild flavor. Chai Masala lacked character. Not much masala spice flavor. Probably skip it unless you are really aching for some chai. Rice is the Japanese variety — sticky and chewy. Not like the basmati rice you’d find in normal Indian cuisine. Overall a good experience as long as you stay with the nan and stronger curries.

Very good Indian food(with many vegetarian options) on second floor in the posh Ginza neighborhood – near the Kabuki theater. Service is excellent and food can be modified to your tastes. Prices can be high – but that’s the neighborhood.

I’ve tried Butter Chicken, Nan and Chicken Bryani. I loved the Butter Chicken and Plain Nan very much! the nan was warm even thou I had it for take away! Owners are Indian, so they know what they are cooking Deliver within the area.
