I stopped by their take out shop where the first floor in Printers Ginza. I bought two original Mont Blank and it was too sweet for me.

If you expected the same menu with Angelina Paris for this place, you might be disappointed. During my Tokyo stay I was craving both a chocolat chaud which has wonderful aroma And a traditional French déjeuner, so I visited Angelina in Ginza. However their menu is completely different from Paris. Maybe only the gâteau Mont-Blanc was imitated though the dimensions and flavor were way different, being smaller and lighter taste. So, my judgment is Angelina Tokyo is not just a branch of Angelina Paris, it is a unique restaurant in and of itself. The lunch course was just ¥1,700– that includes a cup of soup, small salad, and basket of bread. The soup and salad were only adequate. However considering the reasonable cost, the main dish was outstanding! Really! Having cake is not my thing, in fact. But I do that in Japan because Japanese cakes or desserts taste not too sweet, are not huge, and have a nuanced flavor. I would say of the Mont-Blanc in Tokyo, even though appearance resembles original, the creamy center was too milky, like condensed milk. Only Marron paste taste the same since they imported it from France. In spite of the very busy day, the service was exemplary, including offering nice recommendations for dessert and beverage. Overall, I was totally satisfied by this restaurant. It deserves your visit but NOT as Angelina Paris Tokyo branch. Thanks to Ms. Kouda for the great recommendation and services!

Mont Blanc, Mont Blanc!!!
