Well, I try not to be critical but going to lean that way this time. Today was my third visit and things have not improved. The menu offers fairly reasonable prices for the lunch sets, but compared to other I Dian places visited in the area and around Tokyo, there isn’t very much special to recommend. First, the location is deep in the basement of a building, dark and confusing to get to. No phone reception at all — rather disturbing if there’s an emergency. Next, no wifi reception using my own portable router(same as phone reception). Next, no provider wifi except Docomo, which is unchanged from previous visits. Not all customers, including me, subscribe to Docomo and it shows lack of customer concern. All a business owner needs to do is call the other carriers and a salesman comes to install a signal repeater AND wifi router for FREE. OK, now for food. Standard lunch set is salad(sliced cabbage with ketchup– like dressing) — dry and tasteless. Next is water(yes, water!) — luke warm, straight from the tap. Next is the keema curry I ordered. Ground meat, a very simple sauce lacking robust spices of other places. No green peas or eggplant which is also common elsewhere. Plus, the volume was very sparse. Next. lassi drink was watery and even though there were a couple ice cubes, mostly luke warm, just like adding water only to yoghurt. Finally, naan — it’s a staple of Indian food, right? It came hot, but once cooled, it became very hard and crumbly. Overall, the ambiance and service might cover some flaws in the experience but not this time. McDonalds offers smiles for free — none to be found here.
