Really good flavored soup with peanut and sesame base. It is a vegan place so no traditional egg noodles. Hard to find but in the platform of the JR line in Tokyo station. You will have to pay to enter the station.

This is my first Unilocal review and I am writing it as I sit at T’s eating katsu curry. Eating local Japanese food in Tokyo as a Vegetarian is literally equivalent to going on a very long and frustrating treasure hunt with no treasure at the end. #blessed to have found this place thanks to previous Unilocal reviewers. The place is tiny and hard to find(JR– take the Yaeshu south exit) but their ramen is FANTASTIC! This is my third time here and I tried a couple of different kinds, personally the midori bowl was my favorite(spicy, peanuty and salty), it made me want to kiss the chef. The Katsu curry is also fantastic– it’s worth the train ticket cost(you need to be in the JR network to access this restaurant). Sad to leave Japan, but sadder to leave T’s ‚(

VEGANRAMEN. YASYASYAS. It is so damn good. Can I curse on here? I’m not sure, but seriously it’s just that good. I had had a tough time sticking to vegetarian options while traveling in Tokyo and this was a most welcome reprieve. You HAVE to come here if you’re in Tokyo Station. If you’re not in Tokyo Station you HAVE to come here. I don’t care if you’re vegan, vegetarian, eat only steak, or consume rice as your primary staple. This. is. the. place. to. go. I preferred this over a famous pork ramen I’ve had in Tokyo. It’s that good. It’s not salty and it’s so freaking tasty. I had the Shoyu Ramen(soy sauce flavor– soy meat, seasoned Chinese bamboo shoot, green onion, bean sprouts, and seaweed) and their Fried Soy Meat Bowl(grain rice, soy meat, sweet vinegar sauce, mizuna greens, and thread red pepper). For the cost it’s such a steal. They have an area where you can store you luggage while you eat, which is super convenient. The menus are available in different languages and even if there is a line you won’t wait to long. If you do, it’s damn worth it. I wish I could franchise and bring it to America.

This is a completely vegan restaurant. I’m an omnivore but I wanted my vegetarian friend to be able to enjoy a nice bowl of ramen in Japan. So, here I found this gem. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to enjoy a wonderfully rich bowl of tonkatsu ramen but it was worth it to see my friend enjoying his bowl… Japan is tough for the non-meat eaters. He loved it!

Vegan? Really? I have to eat vegan? I don’t want to! Oh was I surprised! This place is amazing! I was definitely not looking forward to this at all. I mean I’m in Tokyo, I want real ramen. I can honestly say this has to be one of the best things I’ve eaten while in Japan. If you are vegan or vegetarian you’ll love it and if you’re not, you’ll love it!

It’s quite tricky to find Ts tan tan which is located inside Tokyo station by Keiyo street… You have to enter the gates but it’s worth the ticket! I ordered Ts tan tan set with a small bowl of bibimbap on the side. I was really happy to hear about vegan and vegetarian ramen in Tokyo! The broth was sooo delicious with a very nutty taste. But I just wish they had more toppings on the ramen and maybe multiple choices of noodles? The bibimbap was not superexciting to be honest… The food came in quickly which is a plus and also reasonable prices!

Vegan places in Tokyo are hard to come by. And a place that serve Japanese food is even rarer. Their ramen is good and comparable to it’s meaty counterpart which makes it enjoyable for both vegan, vegetarians and meat eaters. I would recommend getting a set so you can enjoy more of the different dishes they offer. The gyoza is highly recommended. Don’t be scared off by a long line. Luckily the line moves pretty quickly so that more people can enjoy delicious vegan ramen.

I wish I could give it 10 stars. The best Raman I have ever had! My lovely wife and I came here on our way out of Tokyo to Kyoto. A bit hard to find in the Tokyo station. It is on level b1 in an area called ramen street Wow wow wow! I had the Tonkotsu pork bone broth. It was so velvety smooth and thick with the most wonderful flavor. The Char Sui was amazing in it. The noodles were thin with a wonderful chew. Run don’t walk to try place for Ramen!!!

Hard to find like everyone says but definitely a go to spot for vegans looking to have good ramen in Japan. Once you find keiyo street it’s easy to find!

Fantastic vegan food at T’s Tantan! Located in the Keiyo street section of Tokyo Station T’s serves some really fine vegan Ramen and curries. Extraordinarily flavourful. This is a must stop for vegans visiting Tokyo. While most restaurants will have some vegan choices on the menu, a fully vegan menu is rare. This restaurant will not disappoint. Service is excellent, ask for the english menu. Highly recommend.

The ONLY vegan and vegetarian ramen in Tokyo. Spent ages looking for a place until my friend recommended this. The food was tasty and it was all vegan. Thoroughly enjoyed the ramen! It’s located down Keio St on the way to the Shinkansen and Keio Lines in Tokyo station. We stopped there to get an early lunch before a day trip in Japan. If you get lost, ask one of the shopkeepers but definitely go try it :)

LOVEDTHISPLACE. Meat eater or not! Hands down the best restaurant in Japan that I’ve visited. I love that it’s vegan. No butter, no milk, no bad stuff! :) Location is a bit hard to find but if you ask around, most people know what you’re talking about if you show them the name. DEFWORTHTHEJRTICKETTOGETIN. It’s only another dollar or so to buy a ticket to get into the tokyo station. After visiting this place we went to the imperial palace after. :) Saw cherry blossoms even though they weren’t quite yet in season. :) Price is awesome. The orange tea was surprisingly good too, we tried all 4 options. Service is fast Breakfast only has a few options. Lunch has a lot more.

Wow. This place is one of my top restaurants I’ve ever visited. All vegan, quick friendly service, incredible delicious food. It’s a small place with bench style tables for solo diners, as well as some tables along one wall for small groups. I ordered a set meal of Shoyu ramen, with a side of crispy sweet and sour soy meat and rice, and a lovely iced coffee. I was so full I could barely finish, and it came to a very affordable 1450¥($ 17AUD). I will definitely be back again to try more of the menu before I leave Tokyo.

I wish I was in Japan again just so I could dive into this ramen again. So amazing. We went several times during our trip and each time was great! Forgot to mention you have to go inside the station! Find the Keiyo line and it’s all the way to the end, tucked in a corner.

So good. And everything is safe to eat for a vegetarian so you can’t go wrong! They have an English menu and I recommend getting one of the sets. The little side of sweet/sour veggie meat with rice is probably the best thing on the menu. Each time I went there was a line out the door but it’s absolutely worth the wait. One definitive way to tell that this place is great is the fact that I went two or three times and I saw the same customers more than once!

Delicious! I ate here multiple times whilst staying in Tokyo, it’s inside the station so either swipe your IC Card and pay 164¥ to enter or use your JR Pass to get in for free.

An incredible little restaurant tucked away in Tokyo Station. ALL vegan! My boyfriend and I ate here several times on our trip because of how convenient it was. Yeah, it was in a far corner inside the JR station, but it was easy to access when we were travelling a lot, and it was open relatively late. The service was fantastic and quick. And the food would come out in great portions, piping hot and delicious. If you’re craving vegan ramen, this is the place! And their seitan side, which was crispy and meaty and had a sweet sauce, hit the spot every time. They have products you can buy too — so we bought some curry sauce to make at home in our rented apartment. Highly recommend this place to all vegans!

This place is amazing. A true safe haven for people who abstain from eating any form of animal products. The entire menu is safe for even vegans so there’s absolutely 0 worry factor, especially if you speak no Japanese. That being said, the menu has almost no English on it. The restaurant has a few different ways of ordering, the one my friend and I tried was the Set menu. There’s a choice of three sides that accompany your Raman choice. I wasn’t sure if there was only one Raman option with the set, but there are actually four, the four main Raman options on the first page of the menu. Two spicy, two not. I ordered one of the spicy ones and my friend order a non spicy. They were both phenomenal. I got the«chicken» side and it was 10⁄10 would eat every day for the rest of my life. As other people have stated, it’s hard to find. I ended up having to use one of the maps in the station which I’ve attached with a handy little pinpoint for the restaurant.

I was very hungry and in yhe middle of Tokyo Station when I tealized I could use Unilocal for some help. I knew I needed something hot to calm my stomach, so a good bowl of ramen was on the top of my list. When I saw the good reviews on T’s, I knew I had to give it a try. It was very difficult to find as it’s ticked in a corner along Keiyo Street, headed to the Keiyo Line. However, the bowl was very much worth the frantic search. I’m not a vegetarian, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Tantanmen. It was tasty and very filling, definitely a steal at less than ¥1,000. I enjoyed it so much, it became my default pit stop at Tokyo Station :)

Yay for T’s tantan! The food is delicious here and it’s so great to have a vegetarian ramen option in Tokyo. It’s surprisingly hard to be a vegetarian in Japan. I actually found this place pretty easily, thanks to other Unilocal reviews! In summary, you need to enter the station and buy a JR ticket. Then head to Keiyo Street which is a shopping and eating area on the top level inside the station. The food was great. I opted for Set A which included ramen and a bowl of sweet and sour ‘chicken’ with rice. The Tantan ramen was hearty, tasty and had plenty of noodles. There was also some bok choy in there which was nice as I haven’t seen many veggies here. I loved the chicken as well, great texture with a sticky sweet and sour glaze. Aww yeah. My bf tried the Massaman style curry and it was really good as well, very rich and full of flavour and spices. Anyway if you’re a vegetarian I highly recommend this option if you want Japanese style food!
