By accident, I stumbled upon their website and found out that it was in Otemachi area where I work. And it’s cajun! In my tender age of 17,18, I lived in south, was cherished and fed Southern food. Because of that, my food antenna gets eletrified whenever I heard the word«cajun». Especially in Japan where Cajun food is very scarce. Then there I went. They had only 3 items in their lunch menu. That shows their confident with their food. And it was no fluke. I had their jambalaya and it was quite good. Ingredients were quite genuine. Later I checked their website, it states that they don’t use chemical additives and they make their own sausage. I guess that’s probably why it tasted genuine. Although there’s no immediate correlation between reggae lovers and Cajun food, there is quite an overlap between these two demographic. But reggae people(at least those I know) despite chemical preservatives, flavor, etc. This dogma lives on this joint. It’s quite a cool hidden gem. I need to come back here for gumbo.
