Everything about this store was completely absorbing. It was like the best of Uniqlo, the Gap, Ikea, the Container Store, and so much more coalesced in one fabulous store(with pretty good soft serve in the café). I love the clothes I bought there. I would recommend it as a must-do shopping stop for anyone visiting Tokyo. BONUS — good value TIP — convenient location to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station

First of all I would like to introduce MUJI. MUJI is a Japanese brand which has the basic principle to develop new simple products at reasonable prices by making the best use of materials while considering environmental issues. This particular store is a special one, this is Atelier MUJI. The store itself is divided into two floors and has therefore a lot of space for customers to endulge themselves in the world of MUJI design. For me it was a similar experience of going to a museum, because you really do appriciate the work the designers have put into the crafting of everything. The outcome of this is dreadful though since you quickly understand you would like to buy too many things from this store. What is so special about this MUJI is that they also have a coffee shop inside which is called Meal MUJI. There they sell everything from lunch/dinner to pasteries that they have baked themselves. If you have time and love the brand I would warmly recommend you spending some time there — everything from the design and the food is just lovely!
