It was first time to eat curry in this neighborhood, Jimbocho. Apparently, along with other stuffs(old used bookstores and sporting good stores), this area is clustered with Japanese curry restaurants. That being said, expect some queues when you come. This is one of «famous”/“recommended» Jimbocho curry spot. When I got there, the queue was long(approx. 5 parties ahead of us). However, it moved rather quickly and we were able to get the table with in 15min or so. One flavor of curry but different toppings. I ordered«mixer curry» which is mashup of all toppings available. As seen on the pic, it’s served in somewhat elegant way(in my book at least). I guess this is how it was done back in the days when curry made arrival in this country. Curry was sweet but it got spicy kick. But I think I could go one level hotter next time. And most importantly rich in flavor and delicious. You just have to estimate in ahead so that you don’t finish curry before you finish rice or vice versa. Price ranges from 1200 – 1600 for a dish. Don’t come here like you walk into some«gyudon» place.
