This is so cool! It’s small, just a few rooms, but it is worth putting into your itinerary, especially if you’re headed to the Koishikawa Kōrakuen Garden nearby. The kids will love it, but even us adults enjoy walking through the displays of uniforms, the plaques, the exhibits, and even taking a few swings against hall-of-fame pitchers(with a plastic bat, of course). Unlike Cooperstown, this is conveniently located and it doesn’t have much of a gift shop — for that, you’ll have to walk a few yards to the south! If you’re in the area, and you’re any kind of baseball fan, you simply have to go!

I’m a fan of MLB so my sister and I came here to check out the museum. The museum is pretty small and one could get through it comfortably in less than an hour. The descriptions of the featured items are all in Japanese but upon entering the museum you can get an English paper guide that explains the different exhibits. Since I am a Mariners fan the museum was particularly interesting since it heavily featured Ichiro, Sasaki, Kuma and even Robinson Cano. I would recommend checking out the museum if you’re a Mariners fan or just like baseball and are near the museum.
