This ramen shop is the real deal. Long lines regardless of when you go, but the wait is worth it. The store specialty is is a salt broth(«shio ramen») although they also have soy sauce based broth(«shoyu ramen») if you prefer that style. If you like salt broths, this is one of the best places in Japan that I’ve eaten at. The noodles are excellent, the broth is excellent, the toppings are excellent. The ambience is a parody of Japanese ramen shops with the staff manically yelling greetings and orders. Overall it just can’t be beat. Menus are only in Japanese although they have pictures so you can point and eat. Kimchi as a side dish is all you can eat, although the bowls they give you are ridiculously small. No credit cards. Ps. There’s a cute pet store next door that you can check out after you’ve left your name on the waiting list.
