Did not like this place. Wait staff is not English friendly, or English speaking. You wait forever for service.forever. I understand it’s different in Italy, but even all the other restaurants are better. I went here twice hoping it would be better the second time. It was not. I waited almost an hour for my calzone the first time. Everyone at my table had received their meals and finished by the time I got my meal. It sucked. What I did like was the owner and his wife who would offer a shot of limoncello or something while paying, which was cool.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. Lots of pizzas and other choices as well. Saw tons of different desserts going out to tables but I opted for a scroppino… Give it a shot. You won’t regret it.

I LOVED this restaurant! So much that I came here twice on a weekend visit to Vicenza… if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? This restaurant is on the back side of the Hotel Victoria, which is where we were staying, which made it that much easier and made me that much happier that we took a chance and went down here to eat! NIGHTONE: we tried the octopus starter, which we picked on a whim and enjoyed. Octopus, potato, olives, tomato and leek… interesting combo any way you build it, and something I was glad I tried. We were brought free bread, which was basically a pizza with no toppings and delicious with olive oil. We didn’t get this on our second night, so I don’t know if they do this every night. Then as we waited for our main courses we were provided with another free dish, sliced meats with polenta and AMAZING sauteed mushrooms. I don’t know what prompted our amazing waiter, the friendly and thoughtful Luka, to bring it to us, but I was incredibly grateful, because it was an amazing plate! We were getting full and we hadn’t even gotten to our main dishes yet! Main courses were(a) quail stuffed with sausage with polenta and artichoke on the side and(b) gnocchi with truffle. The quail was a bit dry, but the artichoke was phenomenal and the sausage stuffing was on point. I was obsessed with my gnocchi, having never tasted truffle before, I was so full I had to dig thru to pull out every last bit of truffle before I called it quits and surrendered to my food coma. All this was achieved for a reasonable € 60 or so, which also included two bottles of a lovely moscato. NIGHTTWO: We went much simpler. We ordered the filet and the french fry pizza. The filet was to my taste, as it was bloody and delicious, with lovely roasted veggies. But the star of this night was the french fry pizza. AMERICANSBEWARE! I have never seen this in the States and I am dreading the day I have to leave Europe and will never see its kind again… because this is the new epitome of pizza for me. I dream about it at night. I can’t even find it in Germany, which means that now every time I go to Italy I will have to have it at least twice to fill my quota! I can’t rate this place high enough. The staff is friendly, the wine is lovely and the food is fantastic. Stop in!

Excellent pizzas, but this place can be really busy on weekends. It’s a preferred place for dinner with family for many locals. The place is huge, spacious. The food is great too. Also, parking is free and aplenty. Prams and stroller friendly! They serve wine from their own vineyard which is pleasantly awesome!
