It was a bit hard to find the first day, on day two… as we were looking we stumbled upon it. It is quite close to the square. My goodness this was delicious …. so delicious. If we had more than two days we would have gladly gone EACH day. The woman working the shop, talked with us for almost and hour. but luckily we had no wait —(keep in mind it was raining, a lot, like we need to buy rain boots that day) I HIGHLYRECOMMENDASANABSOLUTEMUST!

While in Italy i did as the locals did and ate gelato almost everyday. This was the best gelato I had on my entire trip throughout italy. Chocolate chip amazingness. You may say how can a gelato be bad. try this place and you will understand. Small spot right next to a little canal. no seats but quick service and helpful staff.

The third gelato of the day was a charm. Hands down the best in Venice. On a hot summer day, there’s nothing better than the lemon-mint-basil gelato. Enjoy!

Like the other reviewer said, this is just 2 doors down from Corte dei Greci.(DONOTTRUSTAPPLEMAPS.) Small selection of 12 gelato. I tried the fior di latte and the stracciatella. Both good.

Sssoooo GOOD!!! Our family had hazelnut chocolate-delicious, dark chocolate, starcc? Something and all were excellent. I got the lemon mint basil and it was excellent. That and the hazelnut were my favorite! Going again today!

Das beste Eis Venedigs? Das beste Eis der Welt! Preiswert(2 riesen Kugeln 2,50 Euro!), handgemacht, lecker!

Close to Corte dei Greci Hotel, I stumbled across this gem when exploring the back streets of Venice. It is a small shop, with amble flavours, advertising that it was highly recommended on TripAdvisor. They pride themselves in making their gelato daily, using high quality 100% natural ingredients. I had their famous summer Granny Smith green apple gelato. It was so refreshing, light and juicy capturing the real essence of ‘apple’(if you can do such a thing). I only got a small scoop as I felt like I’d sampled way to many gelato’s in Italy, but I wish I got the bigger one! I don’t know if I can ever find this place again due to the maze that Venice is, but I will try!
