Venice was known for their masquerade balls (picture Eyes Wide Shut) and many stores offer masks. But, none offer the beautifully painted masks like Atelier Marega. This was the first mask store we found and we didn’t want to buy immediately. On the 3rd day in Venice after seeing about hundred stores offering masks, we found our way back to Atelier Marega and purchased 2 masks that are present on our walls at home.
