best take-away pizza in Venice by a mile. it’s a tiny little store down an alley that would be easy to miss but look them up online and order 30 minutes before you arrive. they have a massive selection of pizza available. the ingredients are always fresh and they can recommend seasonal options if you ask. their dough is light and fluffy and perfectly cooked. take a look at their fresh tomato pizzas, keep it simple! oh and pricewise very good — 15E for a familia size(enough for 3 people). only thing stopping 5 stars is that on more than a couple of occasions they’ve told me a time to pick up and it’s not been ready at that time, usually because they are so busy. small gripe for a great pizza. amazing.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the food in Venice. I was a naïve tourist in thinking that Venice would have amazing food, especially pizza. This was most definitely not the case and another thing to keep in mind is food here in general is expensive. Good thing for us, there was a tiny pizza parlor literally down the street from the apartment we were staying in and not only did they have the BEST pizza we tasted the whole time we were there, it was reasonably priced too. If you’re looking for authentic, fresh made, delicious pizza go here! You’ll probably end up eating here at least twice before you leave.

venice is a giant tourist trap and everything in it is super overpriced. so we were fortunate to stumble upon arte della pizza, which had great pizzas for cheap! the crust was very light and airy and the toppings were tasty and very fresh. my hubby usually doesn’t like thick crust pizza, but even he liked the ones from here. in retrospect, i wish we had more than one meal here during our time in venice. we liked it way better than some of the other places we tried(and the other places were more than double the price).

Maybe I visited on a bad night. I can’t figure out why this place for such great reviews. My husband and I visited this place and didn’t like the pizza one bit. We ordered on the spot and watched the cooks make the pizza from scratch. It was an assembly line that kept us entertained for the 20+ minutes we waited for our pizza to get cooked. When we brought our pizza back to our hotel, we couldn’t even eat it! I had the pizza with zuchini and the sauce was TOOSALTY we couldn’t finish the dish. It was terrible! I couldn’t taste any of the ingredients. I couldn’t even eat the crust by itself because the flavors were so off. Sorry but the inexpensive prices and .50 euro delivery charge isn’t enough for my recommendation here. Stay away!

Great pizza from a friendly spot. We were lucky enough to be staying a block and a half from this find. We almost didn’t give it a second look as it it is off the beaten path but were delighted that we stopped in. Great prepared pizza that looks like American Sicilian slices but they’re light as a feather and deliciously fresh. Try the simple anchovies slice with no cheese or the organic prosciutto from a farm in Tuscany. This is a take out restaurant though there are three stools, which is fortunate because there were three of us.

Best pizza I’ve ever had!!! A friend told us to definitely come have pizza here when we came to Venice. The place does close from 2−5pm. It isn’t much of a sitting down place ! It’s a place to order and either eat a slice or take a whole pizza pie back with you! We ordered a maxi pizza with half mushroom & prosciutto and other half margherita ! It was delicious! I would say if ever in Venice definitely have to find this place a order some pizza!

Viva la pizza! Pizzas here are delicious! The square ones are thick and filling, and the despite being«deep dish» the crust is so light and not heavy at all so you can have waaaay more to eat. I had the pepperoni pizza and the artichoke pizza(only 1 € each!!) I also ordered the«mini»(I guess that’s considered a small bc a «maxi» is considered a large) margherita pizza. Not as good and missing the trademark basil that could have made it better. Also the margherita was supposed to be thin crust but wasn’t crispy at all… Kind of limp bit it was only 3.50 € so no biggie. This is definitely a step up from the ubiquitous«to-go» pizza slice traps you see all over Venice that serves sub-par pizza catering to exhausted tourists who don’t know better. My tip is just go for the cheapie 1 € slices. They have lots of combos… Zucchini, sausage, garlic marinara, potato(yes, it’s like thin sliced potato chips on a pizza! Drool!), etc… Come hungry and come early bc they can get busy. Hours: 11am– 2pm, then 5pm-9pm
