We stopped in here on the first night in Venice. The outside seating is situated alongside the building down an alleyway. I read the other reviews and played it safe with a pork breaded fillet and two draft beers. My wife had Baccala(salted cod) and polenta and a beer. Our son and his friend did not play it safe and both had the Sea Bass and draft beers. Food: tasted fine. The sea bass was considered good. The pork and polenta dishes were OK. Pasta in this town is served just«Al dente». The beer was good. My wife’s lemon tart was good as well Service: helpful and attentive. The place was not overly packed. This wasn’t the best or worst meal I’ve had. About middle of the pack.

Food poisoning 0 Stars I got terrible good poisoning from eating the seafood special here. The food itself was terribly mediocre at the time, as is most of the food in Venice. The house white wine was very crappy, but an excellent deal. The servers were rude to us and eventually ignored out table because we kept ordering more and more dishes which made our meal about 3 hours long. They obviously care more about clearing tables than customer service. I had the spaghetti and muscle platter and the grilled sea bass. The spaghetti wasn’t half bad but the sea bass was horrible. I am not sure which of the dishes got me sick but I woke the next morning violently vomiting. Then for the next two days I had horrible stomach pains and couldn’t keep any food or water in my system.

You can get a ¼ liter of house wine for 4 euro here, which is about the only good thing I can say. We both has pizza, it was mediocre. Soggy crust and low on flavor. There is nice outdoor seating which is what drew us in, but I would not order food here again.
