Muy artesanales. Tienen baños limpios. Sarpada la stracciatella y el TIRAMISÚCONPEDAZOSDETIRAMISÚ. Morí. Se llena de gente, pero atienden rápido.

Been to Grom in NYC, and it was much better. The nocciola tasted odd, and the service was mediocre. There are much better Gelaterias in Siena.

It was around 6 pm(18:00) when I came here and it was really crowded. I wanted to get a gelato, but I didn’t want to be here too long plus I was starting to think gelatos in New York taste better than the ones in Italy /hides under a rock I opted for an ice cream pop(?) instead. It was called ric something. It was vanilla ice cream with bits of dark chocolate with a biscuit cookie(?) stuck on one side of the pop and covered in dark chocolate. It was very delicious, but kind of pricey at € 3. If I ever get the chance to come back I’d definitely give this place another try!

Absolutely yummy! The best gelato I’ve tasted in Siena. I can’t remember what flavours I had — all I can remember is delicious creamy goodness.

The San Franciscan in me resisted going to Grom because it’s a chain, but I gotta hand it to them, they are a big chain for good reason. While the flavors are a bit muted and could use some more oomph, this is some smooth gelato that just coats the mouth. A solid option if you are in need of a gelato fix and don’t want to have to hunt and wait in line forever at the local favorites in whatever Italian city you are in.

10/27/2013 This was the first Grom I found in Italy! I found another Grom in Venice, too. Grom tastes even better in Siena! I’ve been to the Grom in Malibu, California and New York, NY – always had good experiences and good gelato at both locations. This time, I spotted a Grom in Siena and had to venture in to check it out. I got a piccolo size — they allowed 2 flavors in the piccolo size. (1) pera(pear) flavor and (2) nocciola(hazelnut) flavor These 2 flavors seem to go well together. Refreshing, sweet, and delicious. A must try when you’re in the area, even if you’ve had it before in the USA. :)

The best ice cream I had. Very fast and courteous service, great flavors such as apple and pear, and an area for families with kids… Can’t ask for more. The scoops are large so I would go for two max.

In the heart of Siena, a few alleys away from Il campo is IMHOTHE place for gelato. Mom n Pop joint this is not… my understanding is that it is a small chain in Tuscany with locations in both Siena and Florence… the flavors offered are decadent and amazing and made with only the freshest and pure of ingredients, I mean come on, its Europe… everything is made fresher there… I can’t recall the flavor I had as my italian is about as good as my russian. My taste buds are in constant mourning every night yearning for that taste once again. When it comes to the historical and current Siena v. Florence rivalry, the gelato battle comes out all square on the Grom front. You best look up this great joint this summer wherever you decide to stay… me personally, I prefer Siena, but really… u can’t go wrong with either city and with Grom locations in both its ALLGOOODD in the Tuscan Hood!

Grom has the best gelato in Siena. Don’t let the line out the door deter you. The gelato is made fresh with the finest ingredients. The pistachio and nocciola flavors are intense and full of flavor! Definitely check out their flavors of the day – they usually have something interesting and unusual that you won’t find anywhere else. Also, Grom has a number of locations throughout Italy so be sure to check them out in Rome and Florence too!
