We went for dinner, had the house whine, water and ravioli. It all tasted great and the price of it was very reasonable. The service was fast and nice.
The restaurant opened at 7:30 pm but no one was there yet. We came back at 7:50 and where the first guests. Later some more people arrived. They were all locals — we were the only tourists.

Persönlicher Service, heimelige Atmosphäre, tolle, hausgemachte italienische Gerichte (echte Hausmannskost), faire Preise. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn man mal nicht nur Pizza und Pasta essen möchte.

One of those hidden gems, in a not so crowded area of Trastevere, where the old fashioned still survives. The restaurant is pretty small, not even 10 tables, and the menu very traditionally Roman. Also the prices seem from the past, with a dish for just a few Euros, even though I must say portions are not very generous.
A recommendation though: get there early to get a table, but also to get more food choice. In fact the waiter deletes dishes from the menu when they’re over, and they close when there’s no more food!

Diese kleine Osteria ist ein echtes Juwel: typisch römisches Essen von einer sehr kleinen, aber dafür tagesaktuellen Karte. Dabei wirklich günstig und nicht touristisch, sondern überwiegend von Italienern besucht. Leider gibt es nur wenige Tische also rechtzeitig dort sein! Insgesamt nett und unkompliziert. Man kann mit Kreditkarte zahlen. Sonntag ist Ruhetag.

Ein unglaubliches Lokal. Von der Straße schaut man wie durch 2 Kellerfenster hinein. Man geht also nach unten. Alte Holzstühle, Tische mit Tischdecke. 3 Kellner wie bei Dinner for one mit weißen Kellnerjacken, eine Stoffserviette unter den Arm geklemmt. Lamm, Kalb, Nudelgerichte preiswert auf dickem, altem Prozellangeschirr. Wein offen. Geöffnet ab 19 Uhr. Sonntags geschlossen.
