L’Africana – Africana Famous Club

Service atrocious. Entertainment bleak and lame. Food below average. Atmosphere awkward. They should have left it as a cave — this is the only redeeming quality about it, if I had to give it one. Only thing it should be famous for is how disappointing it is for the region.

We got ripped off!!!
We experienced what some users testified here: the staff told us we were supposed to 180 for a bottle and when we decided to pay the price in the bill changed to be 270. The so-​called reason was that we were six to drink the bottle instead of four which is stupid as it does not change the size of the bottle nor it’s trade price. The staff kept us hostage until we paid. We had to discuss for more than 30 minutes simply to find an agreement on the price.
This was not a language issue as most of us are fluent in Italian.
They simply do not respect customers and are simply trying to ripped people off.
Do not go there.
Even is the venue is beautiful, the music not the ambiance are able to balance the behaviours of the staff.

WOW. We did not come here on a nightclub night. We came on a Monday evening for dinner. I have never seen such spectacular views while dining and the restaurant itself if quite unique. Breathtaking views — you are literally sitting in a cave overlooking the ocean, listening to the waves crashing. We were given Prosecco when we were seated. The owner came by and he asked a few questions and ended up making me a pasta with seafood. Fresh pasta with clams, mussels, fish, and calamari — it was fantastic. This was just dinner but this club has so much more to offer. Do not miss in Praiano.
