If hungry while visiting Palermo, Primi Piatti should be your first choice. It’s a small and cosy restaurant serving tipical Sicilian cuisine. Its first pro is the location — Primi Piatti is situated on a lovely, narrow street in the centre of the town. Thanks to that it’s close to all the turistic spots and in the same time kind of hidden from noise — great place to relax. Secondly, the service is really nice. I suppose that the owner himself is taking the orders, which I personally adore. Then comes the food — absolutely fantastic! During my one-week stay in Palermo I went there twice(sooo good!), tried pasta and risotto and both were so incredibly tasty! Also my friend’s meals were great — she took pasta twice and was very happy. Last, but not least: prices. It’s really cheap place. I’m giving five stars and if I could, I’d add one more :)

Wandered in as it was one of the few real restaurants open before 8 pm. Extensive menu of traditional Sicilian and Southern Italian food. I had spaghetti putanesca and grilled calamari; both were very good. Easy on the wallet as well – my meal with a huge glass of the house red was 20 euro.
