We’re in Naples — have to try real Italian pizza. Pizza Bra is a casual place across the street from the Dante Plaza downtown. You can get a slice and a coke from an outside booth, but we decided to dine in. It’s two stories, with most seating on the second floor, the stairwell overlooking the kitchen as you walk upstairs. The décor is hmmmmm how can I explain? Well, it has a cheap, plastic feel to it. The waiter was pleasant and had passable English(thanks!). We ordered a 4-cheese white and a plain marinara pizza. My expectations must have been too high going in. I thought authentic Italian pizza should be tops. It wasn’t bad, but just tasted like a mediocre pizza that you’d get at Pizza Hut or Domino’s. Prices are a little higher than you’d find in the US, but not abnormally higher. This was however my first experience with a «dine in» charge of a Euro per person(boo). Overall, Pizza Bra is not bad, but not great too.
