Great, peculiar restaurant! I enjoyed the food(meat crocché rules!), the service, the quiet atmosphere, the low volume music and the choice of beer. And the mozzarella of course! On the down side: perhaps the complete pesto on the(already tasty by itself) tartare was too strong.

Great little restaurant in the trendiest part of the city. The whole menu is built around cheese, namely mozzarella(and to a lesser extent ricotta). First we had potato crisps with fonduta, which were nice enough but could have used a little zing. Then I had the tuna tartare with mozarella and lemon, and I have to say it was surprisingly delicious. Very simple but spot-on taste wise and the tuna was really fresh. My fiancée had the bresaola, more straightforward but very good as well. For desert I couldn’t help but try the cheesecake which happened to be one of the best I ever tasted, no less. Amazingly light and soft compared to traditional NY cheesecake(they use ricotta in place of cream cheese), it was nothing short of a revelation. Don’t let the tongue-in-cheek décor put you off, it is really worth it.

Another great meal in Naples! This cozy restaurant pays homage to the true buffalo mozzarella. The staff is very friendly, they offered me an English menu on and iPad but I declined and attempted to use my poor Italian. I had the buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto. The mozzarella was creamy and delightful, balanced by the tender and salty ham — yum! I choose the recommended cheesecake for dessert and it was far and away the best cheesecake I have eaten outside of New York. You could choose your topping and I think next time I would go with just plain as it was so good. At the end of the meal I was offered a complementary limoncello, which I graciously excepted. It was the perfect finish to an all-around great meal! I cannot wait to return on my next trip.

Yesterday me and My boyfriend had a great evening in that restaurant. Small, cosy with a nice interior. We ordered the recommended mozzarella with apples and homemade pesto as starter. Quite a uncommon combination but very good. The hamburger and my veil salad with buffalo mozzarella topped it all. Just fantastic! Modern Italian cooking with good atmosphere. P. S. Don’t forget to try the cheesecake there– a dream!

Tired and wrung out from 24 hours of travel. This was the first meal that we had in our trip two weeks in in Italy. Only in Naples overnight on our way to Capri, we found this amazing spot steps from our hotel. The food was fantastic, the hosts even better. We will be going back when we pick up our car in Naples. The boccocini w pesto and apples was fresh, light and oh so good! The beef carpaccio was one of the best that my husband and I have ever had.
