I was staying near the train station, and this place was recommended in my Naples guidebook as a great place to eat in the area. I was happy that it was so close. They have typical Italian food, but since I was in Naples I chose the pizza. The margherita was only 4 euros and it was huge! It was also some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. This is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a place to eat near the train station.

Naples — I love this City, this restaurant had received good reviews for their pizzas. I was there with a local colleague. He said that the Food was more or less standard (nothing extraordinary), with an acquisition, their pizzas. Therefore I decided to try their pizzas — it’s a long time ago since I’ve got as good a pizza, they were original, and with the collar as they do in Naples area … The mood to sit in the square, checkered tablecloths were also original. Staff were easily confused — they had also a busy night, but it seemed to lack the overview.

This was the first place we ate when we arrived in Naples. We were staying at a nearby hotel in the piazza. We shared a fried appetizer platter (squid, arancini, bruschetta, and fried of balls of what seemed to be leftover creamy spaghetti and ham), gnocchi, and bucatini amatriciana (easily the best dish). We ate relatively early, maybe 5 or 6pm, and the restaurant was uncrowded and service was good. Pasta portions were smallish — they definitely expect you to have a second course of meat or fish — but we weren’t super hungry so it was fine. Not bad, but there are definitely more interesting places to eat.

Naples is a very busy, crowded and maybe not so safe city. So my wife and I wanted to stay in the safer area, where there were a lot of police and tourists presence.
We chose this restaurant, they have a patio and the service is pretty good. They speak English and try their best to assist their clients.
House wine was pretty cheap € 4.50 a bottle, and food was pretty reasonable.
I would say it’s a good atmosphere with good food and prices.
We enjoyed our time and as a matter fact we were there for almost 3 hours and 2 bottles a wine and 3 dishes later we paid about € 31.

One of the best whole grilled pieces of fish I have ever had! I had no idea this place would be any good because there were so many tourists, and it was packed on a Sunday afternoon. But my friend lives in Naples and he said it was great, and he was correct!
