If you check my reviews you will note that I almost never give a 5 star rating. La Bruno earns it. Small, wonderful seafood specialist, the type that I search for.
We ate a lot for 2 — including lobster pasta, crab, and scampi. Let me recommend without reservation, the crab pasta. At € 25 not cheap, but as the owner shrugged, ‘it’s fantastic!’ It cannot be compared to anything we have ever tasted. A highlight of our trip to Naples.
Terrific wine cellar, owner is very knowledgable about what you may like. The tiramisu was great and I am not generally a fan, but the chocolate mousse with salted icing should be entered into a contest of some kind.
Small, casual, wonderful. Sit in the back room if possible and wish you could afford that 1968 Barolo sitting on the shelf.
