So it’s a bit confusing but I ate in the restaurant upstairs. I should have just eaten at the pizzeria in street level.
The restaurant was a rip off. 30 euro for water, measly side salad, fried vegetable/​cheese plate and a pizza. The service was horribly slow. I felt bad for my server who was a lovely woman but didn’t have time or the support. I don’t speak Italian but I’m pretty sure her manager was yelling at her right next to me.
I’m not sure why they were even in the Michelin guide??? I would not recommend this place at all.

Total rip off. Will charge you 2 euro coperto per person and increase the price from what it says on the menu and then expect you to pay it!
Multiple times as I was being seated I asked if they did gluten free pizza (senza glutine) and was ignored. At first I thought maybe they don’t understand me but no they spoke English just fine. They made sure we had a bottle of water before telling us that in order to get gluten free pizza you must book it in advance! Two days apparently according to my fellow reviewer! And now I find out that you can have gluten free pasta (from reading someone else’s review) but that was never offered to me!
So instead of leaving I order some side vegetable dishes as we already had received a bottle of water. I got 2 different side vegetables and was charged 12euro instead of 8 euro as it said on the menu. The waitresses excuse was that she gave me bigger portions, I’m genuine in saying that neither of my portions of peppers or silverbeet were big my any stretch of the imagination. I left having spent 33 euro and receiving for that: a plate of 3 different vegetables (small portions), a pizza for my boyfriend and a bottle of water.
Don’t bother!
