What a fabulous find. We stumbled onto La Planca on our first day in Giudecca looking for wifi and had a delicious lunch, delicious! Homemade sea bass filled ravioli with a delicate light seafood sauce, salad, great house wine and an extraordinary older waiter who shared local history with us in perfect Italian accented English.
EVERY morning, except Sunday, starts here with all the neighbors coming in for espresso, cappuccino, and a pastry.
Breakfast, lunch, an afternoon spritz & snack and enjoy the amazing view while you sit on the waters edge, literally at the edge, if you want. The staff is warm, friendly, very helpful and put you at ease, even if you only know a few words of Italian.
