Good thick pizza. Very Milanese. Its great quality for how inexpensive it is. It’s a great place for both tourists and locals!

Braced myself for bad service but it was fine. Restaurant hours changed from opening at 6pm to opening at 7pm instead. Bare bones cheap cheese pizza on very thick pizza bread. Una trancia normale per € 5. Una bottiglia di acqua per € 1,5.

Pizza junkie that I am, I’ve finally found Italian based pizza I really liked. (Remember I’ve grown up on US pizza.). Spontini pizza is thick and cheesy.
I’d give the place another star, but the staff is NOT friendly. I don’t expect 5 star service in a fast food joint, but these folks border on rude. Guess they’re unhappy?
Deal with its if you want a tasty slice.

One star less for the unfriendly staff.
My friends and I had to wait five minutes at the beginning of the line, at the waiting point, before anybody realize we were there; many waiters passed by but ignored us. Finally one of them came and got us seated at a table. No smile.
We all had the «abbondante». The pizza was good, as usual, but the cheese was a little less stringy than the other Spontini slices I am used to. We added olio piccante, that is just a plus.
It was wednesday night, the restaurant was crowded, but nobody pushed us to leave once we were over with our dinner, and that’s fair.
Spontini is right outside WAGNER subway station, that makes it really easy to reach using public transportation, also by tram n° 16.
My favourite is still the Sant’Agostino one.

Not very friendly customer service. This was on all fronts including the entrance all the way to the table service. Is asking the waiter for something not allowed? Maybe its because they are super busy? But still not an excuse.
The pizza itself was better than I expected, thinking that this was some tourist trap, since Ive only been exposed to thin Neapolitan style pizza thus far. However, it was surprisingly fluffy with a nice quantity of melty silky mozzarella cheese. Add to that some olio piccante and it gets even better.
I would go back to the other locations, but I dont think I will be returning to this particular one.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon.
The place was super packed but luckily there was only two of us so we were seated quickly.
They only serve margarita pizza and is famous for it.
There are two sizes-​normal and large.
My friend ordered me a large and I didn’t know it but I stuffed my face.
The slice of pizza reminded me of a Chicago deep dish pizza.
It was thick and fluffy and crispy.
It was probably the best margarita pizza I’ve had in Milano.
Or maybe I was hung over from the night before so it tasted even better?
BOH! it could of been a little bit of everything.
Regardless, it was a-​m-​a-​z-​i-​n-​g!!!
Maybe next time I will take out a whole pan ;)
