A true hidden local gem! My wife found this place on Unilocal & it only had 1 review with 5 stars so we were reluctant to go but it was sure worth it! It’s 5 – 8 min walk from Venezia Mestre station on the other side of the station. Go downstairs & go under the tracks to the other side & a bit of a walk but definitely worth the trip.
Their Carbonara with black chorizo was exquisite & the baked cheese from their seasonal menu was magnificent! We were about to order too much food as Italy’s menu has a primary course (pasta) & main course (meat or fish) but the owner stopped us & told us it would be too much food. He was right! The portions are pretty big & the food was great!
For dessert we had the strawberry panacotta & we loved it! If you’re willing to take a small walk to a great place, I would highly recommend here!
