We went there for dinner tonight. The service was without doubt excellent. We shared appetizers, an excellent shrimp with saffron mayonnaise and my wife’s fishy bits starter with toast and leaves. The main course wasn’t as good which is the reason for only two stars. For main course we ordered lasagne(basically well cooked pasta but very little meat. Mine was locally caught cod with polenta — very little cod, and third was ravioli with sea bass, again quite tasty but small portions. The mains came without any accompanying sides or salads so we ordered a mixed salad — leaves, shredded carrot and tomato, and a tomato salad — just tomatoes, no salad leaves, no dressing, it would been better described as tomota wedges !! I read other reviews on other sites and was hoping for more from La Vittoria. The food we had was good, but we left feeling that we could have done better a couple of hundred metres away further down the prom

Lovely stay for 4 days in June. We booked ahead and got one of the rooms with a private balcony(there’s only a couple of those). Walking into the room, we noticed two things right away — air conditioning(aaaaahhhhh) and lots of space. Plenty of light through windows that opened to the lake. Service at the hotel was friendly — they helped figure out a good parking spot for our motorcycle. Can’t say I heard the neighbors at all, occasionally I heard someone walking in the hall, but overall a quiet and peaceful stay. The hotel is very near the Garda ferry dock, which is convenient for city hopping. Hotel has wifi, so you can share plenty of lakeside photos with friends. There’s also a lift in case you have lots of luggage or mobility issues. Breakfast buffet was good — and they’ll make you eggs any way you want with your choice of espresso beverage if you like. One note — they do have an agreement with a nearby aquatic/fitness center, but it’s a ways off — bikeable for sure, walkable if it’s not too hot. Unless you are sure you will use it every day, I’d skip any package price that includes that in the nightly rate. They also have an arrangement for bikes, but they aren’t on site so you need a bit of advance notice. And finally, car parking is about a kilometer away(easy enough to drop bags first though). I suspect that same parking lot is used by many of the lakeside hotels since space was at such a premium.
