Via del Tè

This famous tea house in Florence now has a special place in the oltrarno which I am very happy about. The space is in an ancient palazzo and here you can buy tea and speciality gift items or sit and sip a cup with a friend, the inside and outside ambiance is quite nice!
I went there for the first time with a friend of mine recently and we really liked our cold tea infusions, which happened to also be named after the city itself. The prices are steep, my cold tea infusion was six euros, which is why I consider coming here as a real treat. The tea is good but if you want to save a few euros, come here for the sit down experience (love their chai!) but purchase tea to take home in nearby OroNero or Tealicious, both of which are more affordable.
