This place was recommended by a friend who went to culinary school in Firenze. Not sure why it’s only 4 stars and why there were so few people here! Everything was excellent. The mood of the restaurant, the music, the wine menu, and of course the food! I would say Ponte Vecchio incorporates both Tuscan and Italy by probably more of an Italian restaurant. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Very close to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Both food and service was good. My daughter had the siu mai like pasta stuffed w/pear & cheese in a white sauce w/truffle for 15E. It was delicious. I had the Beef roll w/spinach and cheese, also good. Husband had the fettuccini w/truffle which was kind of blah, but I think that the nature of that dish. We had the bruschetta appetizer recommended by the wait staff. We each a plate of 2 and we thought it was nice of them to split the appetizer for us. No, they charged 5 euros per plate. That was unexpected. We had the recommended tiramisu with orange for dessert. While it was not bad, it did not taste like tiramisu. It was creamier but could not taste the ladyfingers. All in all, a good meal, probably the best we had in Florence.

The location steps from the Uffizi gallery & the Ponte Vecchio aid this little gem. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere. It is very nice. the linen table runners and the wood paneling lent it a formal feeling, however, we were made welcome right away and it felt like home. I ordered the Chef’s risotto with mushroom. It was Prepared just right. My salad was fresh and their balsamic was«delish». The bruschetta was very good as well and presented with the veg arranged up to represent the Italian flag. I wish I had thought to take a photo. Our server was efficient, friendly and like all over Florence multi lingual. I give this 4 stars for good food, good location, cleanliness and good staff. Enjoy.

Magnificent. Best food I had in all of Europe! Kind staff. Astoundingly gracious and warm owner. The best appetizers(bruschetta), food(their signature pasta), and dessert were suggested. Prices are very good. I can not suggest this place any more. There are no greater restaurants in Florence!

Loved the charm, but the food was mediocre; although the tagliatelle with pear & pecorino was a treat, the chicken breast was a letdown. Staff was professional, but inattentive. Nice chianti–

Good location by the Ponte Vecchio and Arno River. The mixed seafood spaghetti was a great dish, but the rest of the meal was just okay. Service was also a bit slow.

We were pleased with the quality of food and presentation. The atmosphere was just OK and the waitress was not as helpful as we she could have been. Had to ask for a wine menu. They willingly split the multiple dishes we ordered. The pasta with cheese and pear was superb as was the stewed wild boar. Dessert so so.

Very attractive restaurant a half block from the bridge and behind the Uffici. Missed by many as street has few shops. Prices slightly higher than local but reasonable. Recommend for special night out.
